Our comprehensive training programs cover every aspect of fostering respect in the workplace, including employment and discrimination law, implicit bias, leadership development, effective management practices, and the prevention of violence and bullying. We also offer customer service and de-escalation training tailored to a variety of industries. Our goal is to cultivate a culture of respect and accountability. Each training session is customized to the unique needs of the client and includes interactive components such as live role-plays with actors, video content, and realistic scenarios.

Respectful Workplace Practices: Preventing Discrimination and Conduct Issues in the Workplace

This training is designed to educate participants on how to avoid the legal landmines associated with unlawful harassment, including discriminatory and sexual harassment. Participants learn how to effectively address claims of harassment and how to best report misconduct in the workplace. Topics also include responding to maintaining professional communications, implicit bias, how to handle difficult co-workers, bullying, unprofessional conduct, workplace aggression, violence, and threats.

Customer Service and De-escalation

This hands-on training provides participants with practical skills to help address the “angry co-worker and customer” while providing exceptional customer service. Participants learn the key verbal and non-verbal components of de-escalation and mindfulness and practice live scenarios with an actor.

Conducting Effective Workplace Investigations

Offered in a one- or two-day format and a Certification Program

In this one- or two-day training, she shares her extensive expertise as an independent investigator to ensure participants are prepared to conduct investigations into workplace harassment, bullying, retaliation, and claims of misconduct. Through customized, dynamic videos depicting real-life cases, role plays, and case studies, participants will learn how to plan and prepare for witness interviews, get to the truth with any witness, use non-verbal strategies and mindfulness during interviews, plan and message investigations with potential witnesses, analyze fact patterns and determine the credibility of witnesses. This training is often delivered in coordination with seasoned labor and employment attorneys and includes written template investigatory reports.

Supervisory Leadership and Performance Management

Geared to managers and supervisors who want to enhance their skills in managing performance, workplace conflict, and leadership, this training draws from real-life cases and challenged participants to uncover their own behavioral blind-spots as leaders. Participants will learn what differentiates a leader from a manager, the step-by-step process of managing performance and creating a culture of respect and accountability. Participants will learn how to effectively coach and engage in active listening while addressing common employee performance matters. Participants will also learn how to supervise in a unionized environment and learn effective remedial and disciplinary practices.

Keep Yourself OUT of Court: What Every CEO, School Administrator, HR Professional and Manager Should Know about Employee Relations

This workshop is designed to assist front-line managers, school administrators, and leaders in addressing discrimination complaints from employees (including parents of school-aged children) and conducting effective internal investigations. Through case studies and role plays, participants will learn the top 5 issues that can result in litigation, DESE, EEOC, and MCAD complaints if not handled properly by HR and management. This seminar will address state and federal requirements, documentation, complaint resolution, retaliation minimization and effective disciplinary actions.

Workplace Violence, Domestic Violence and Bullying Prevention for Employers

Addressing workplace threats and domestic violence in the workplace is a complex and highly sensitive matter for managers and employees. In this training, participants will learn how to identify the early signs of workplace violence and bullying including how to effectively respond to incidents and complaints of aggressive and violence behaviors to better ensure the safety of all employees in the workplace. Participants will learn how to effectively interact with both victims and perpetrators of bullying and domestic violence and offer appropriate safety plans and internal and external resources.

Leading Your Team like a Rockstar! Overcoming Behavioral Blind Spots for Managers

This dynamic training explores the underlying and common dysfunctions that exist within Executive Teams that serve to undermine effectiveness and create silos. At the end of this training, participants will learn to identify their own “behavioral blind spots” and how to move forward with professional relationships that have been strained. Through team building and individual and group exercises, participants will learn how to rebuild trust with their colleagues. The MBTI and classroom exercises are utilized to help participants gain understanding and tolerance for individual differences.
